Armitage House

About

Armitage House is on the seafront and was probably built around the same time as the nearby harbour which was developed in 1830.

The house is comfortable and well proportioned. It was completely renovated in 2014 and provides 2 large double rooms, 3 twin rooms, a bathroom, 2 shower rooms and a downstairs cloakroom.

The large kitchen-dining room has an Aga while the drawing room has an inglenook with wood burning stove.

There are sea views from the main rooms and character throughout - particularly the upper landing and the eaves rooms with their low sloped ceilings.
