Here, you’ll observe the night sky as it is rarely viewed and experience how it would have been seen by your ancient ancestors. You’ll learn the fascinating history and significance of the stone circles from insightful locals who know more than a thing or two about stars.

Understand The Great Famine

To mark the 175th anniversary of The Great Famine (1845-1849), take a trip back in time to learn the heart-breaking history of the county. You’ll get to visit the workhouses and paupers’ graves in the area. It may even be the beginning of a search into your own family tree. Finish your Famine Tour in Friels, Swatragh and see an original famine pot while experiencing living history and storytelling in this fascinating glimpse into Tyrone’s and Ireland’s past.
