A well-loved country hotel with a truly exceptional history located on the spectacular Causeway Coastal route, nestled in the picturesque village of Carnlough.
Built in 1848 by Frances Ann Vane Tempest, once owned by Sir Winston Churchill and formerly the Londonderry Arms Hotel.
In 2024 the hotel changed hands for only the second time in its long history. A new chapter has begun at the Harbourview Hotel. The hotel retains the best elements of Irish hospitality yet is also innovative as Ireland’s first destination whiskey hotel.
The extensive refurbishment programme allows guests the chance to experience the Causeway Coast like never before. The Harbourview is an elegant 35 bedroom hotel celebrating the rich historical charm of the building while embracing modern coastal chic touches, delivering comfort and exceptional standards for guests.
At the heart of the hotel, you’ll find over 300 whiskies from all over the world, for the serious connoisseur and the merely whiskey-curious. The hotel will offer a programme of whiskey events, fireside stories with master distillers, whiskey dinners and of course tasting flights.
