Dining at the Londonderry Arms Hotel

About

Built in 1847 and once owned by Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel has belonged to the O’Neill family for over 70 years. It has maintained it’s sense of old world charm with cosy lounges, paintings by local artists, antique furniture and open log fires. Step back into history and enjoy its unique friendly atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. They aim to ensure you leave well-rested, well-fed and happy! They will always do their best to cater for special dietary requirements so enjoy:

Frances Anne and Tapestry Restaurants
In this award winning restaurant, their menu offers a wide choice of the best of locally produced food featuring specialties of the Glens of Antrim including Glenarm Organic Salmon, Prime Irish Beef and locally produced vegetables. The hotel is famous for its homemade wheaten bread and tasty scones. Local produce is very import to them and they are a founder member of The Taste of Ulster. Enjoy Glenarm Organic Salmon with white wine butter sauce served with creamy mash and greens. Or perhaps you’d prefer the 10oz Prime Irish Sirloin cooked to your liking and served with Portobello Mushrooms, grilled tomato, onion rings, chips and pepper Sauce.

Coach House Bistro
A visit to the Londonderry Arms Hotel would not be complete without spending some time in the Coach House Bistro for a relaxed informal meal with a pint of Guinness to hand. Check out their homemade chicken liver pate, seafood chowder, freshly prepared lasagne or traditional chicken Maryland. Their warm apple & cinnamon crumble is delicious.

Arkle Bar
In the cosy Arkle Bar, a unique collection of Arkle memorabilia recalls one of Ireland’s greatest steeplechasers who captured the hearts of many in the 1960’s when the hotel was home to an enthusiastic fan club. Arkle offers a winning toast to the ‘water of life.’

To complement their dining menus they have an extensive wine list and an excellent range of Malt Whiskies and craft beers. Check out Facebook for regular entertainment.
