Get Involved: European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) 13-14 September 2025
The Department for Communities is inviting heritage venues, historic buildings, gardens and houses, community groups, and event organisers to take part in European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) 2025, Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of local history, architecture, and culture.
EHOD 2025 will take place on 13–14 September 2025, offering free public access to historic sites, cultural landmarks, and special events across Northern Ireland. Owners of historic properties, museums, heritage sites, and local community organisations are encouraged to participate and showcase their unique spaces and stories.
