Welcome to Hound of Ulster Tours. We have been operating private tours in Northern Ireland for over 5 years, led by our Tour Director Adrian Doyle. Throughout this time the company has earned a reputation for delivering high-end private experiences in an executive vehicle for groups of people; family and friends.. These professional, chauffeured day trips, cover specific areas of Ireland.
The trips mainly concentrate on going to wonderful, scenic sites and other areas of interest with an historical or cultural background. The tours are given by professional guides who all have a passion for their chosen career and hold the highest tour guide qualifications in Ireland and the UK.
This is a high-end experience. Our tours allow for a lunch break at an Irish pub or restaurant and numerous photographic opportunities along the way. We will take you to those magicial spots, off the beaten track that a bus simply can't cater for. The pace is relaxed, allowing clients to indulge in the magnificent scenery and enjoy the sites in their own time. All tours are bespoke and clients can request customised versions of the tour to suit their preferences.
Private Tour - Giants Causeway, Castles & Whiskey Tour - Game of Thrones - North Coast
This tour is a day trip lasting 8 hrs. You will be chauffeured through the Irish countryside from Belfast all along the coast road right up to the northeast coast of Ireland. This is a spectacular journey, through beautiful rolling hills and breathtaking coastline. Enjoy Torr head where Scotland can be seen just 12 miles away on a clear day.
We stop at the Giants causeway which is Irelands only World Heritage site and view its unique stones on the coastal edge. Then we make our way to Dunluce castle and experience this magical setting on the cliff edge. Bushmills Distillery is the next stop and clients are treated to a private tour of the Distillery with whiskey tasting in the bar to finish. Northern Ireland is famous for its stunning film locations and we showcase this by vistiting the Dark Hedges which featured in the award winning series the Game of Thrones as the King's Highway.
