The Society’s library holds books, archives and artefacts relating to the history of Presbyterianism in Ireland that constitute a valuable resource for academic, local and family history. The collection includes over 12,000 pamphlets, journals and magazines, congregational histories, photographs and a number of congregational records as well as microfilm copies of ‘The Witness’ newspaper and microfilm copies of the records of Presbyterian, Non-Subscribing and Reformed Presbyterian congregations. The Society also has biographical information on Presbyterian Church ministers and resources for the history of congregations of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. In addition, the Society has an active publications programme, details of which can be found on the Society’s website.Other places to visit in the area:
