In the countryside of the Causeway Coast, our pottery is nestled in the courtyard of the historic grounds of the Georgian Blackheath House. We looked to the past for inspiration for our wares, honouring the craftsmanship that existed all over Ireland in years gone by. The Stories of Blackheath House - A Guided Tour
Experience a guided tour of the grounds and outbuildings of Blackheath House, built in 1791. Hear about the past and current lives of those who resided at Blackheath House, right up to its current owners. From its commission by the Earl Bishop of Derry to a derelict old house filled with chickens, It also housed a famous restaurant called Macduffs. Learn about the past lives and even a ghost or two. Whilst Enjoying specialty coffee and homemade cakes all served on handcrafted Blackheath pottery.
Tour duration 1.5 hours. Fridays at 3:30 pm
Price £30 per person ( Min 2 people max 15 People)
The price includes a drink of either Specialty tea, Coffee from our espresso machine, or local juice from Armagh and a choice of one piece of cake or baked sweet treat from our cake cabinet .-Included is a detailed brochure of the history of Blackheath house.

Take a pottery class
Unleash your inner artist and explore the joy of pottery, the Blackheath pottery classes are a great way to have a go on the wheel and create your own bowls. Learn from expert potter Babs in a calm and relaxed environment. Enjoy the mesmerizing process of pottery making and complete the class by painting a hand-thrown porcelain mug in your own wonderful style.
Each class will have a 20 min break to enjoy a lovely cuppa and a freshly made cake. ( please advise on any dietary requirements when booking, we are able to cater to everyone)
Class duration 3 hours, Saturdays from 4 pm - 7 pm
Clear price:1 person class £140, 2 persons £160, 3 persons £180, 4 person class £220. A refreshment break included hot drinks and homemade cakes.
The class consists of making 5 porcelain bowls and painting a mug.
All items will be fired and glazed and ready for collection or posting 2 weeks after your class date.
