Belfast TradFest

About

Belfast TradFest, the pinnacle of world-class traditional music concerts, fiery pub sessions & Ireland’s fastest growing summer school of traditional music, is set to celebrate its 7th edition across Belfast UNESCO City of Music between Sunday 27th July – Sunday 3rd August 2025.

Belfast TradFest acknowledges and celebrates the cultural diversity of the different traditions here in NI and is extremely proud of its work, bringing people together, in a shared celebration of traditional music from these islands. Our 7th festival will be a momentous occasion, as it will recognise the advancements and achievements since 2017 and all that organisers have overcome to bring people together, in a defining cultural celebration of the very best of traditional music, song and dance. Featuring a week long programme of workshops and a full programme of concerts, talks, lectures, sessions, céilís & festival clubs.
