About

St Patrick's Day is coming to the land of legends...BIGGER AND BETTER than ever before!

From Saturday 15 March - Monday 17 March, come and celebrate St Patrick's Day Weekend at the Giant's Causeway, with lots of family-friendly activities spread across 3 days!

Across the weekend, follow a whimsical Leprechaun Trail and discover enchanting surprises along the way - keep an eye out for mischevious leprechauns up to no good!

On Saturday 15 March, Annie's Delights, a single-handed producer of award-winning jams, curds, marmalade, chutneys and breads/bakes based in Portglenone, will be centre-stage in a Meet the Maker event from 10:00am - 1:00pm.

On Sunday 16 March, Photographer and Filmmaker, Conor Edgell will also be participating in a Meet the Maker session from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Conor has held an immense passion for the breath-taking natural wonder that is the Causeway Coast, capturing stunning shots that make up his epic collection that the Giant's Causeway are delighted to showcase in the Retail area of the Visitor Centre.

Then...St Patrick's Day is a go! On Monday 17 March, there is lots going on throughout the day. Embark on an exciting quest to find hidden treasures scattered throughout the Visitor Centre. Follow the clues and you might just have the luck of the Irish! Facepainting by the Sea's Lorraine Carmichael will be joining in on the St Patrick's Day fun from 11:30am - 2:30pm to paint loads of faces, and local four-piece trad band, Bri are set to get everyone on their feet from 12:00pm - 1:00pm with their own eclectic fusion of Irish and Scottish music.

It really is set to be a jam-packed weekend! Whether you're visiting Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site to take in the beauty of the Causeway Coast, hear of local myths and legends or immerse yourself in the ongoing festivities, there really is no better place to celebrate St Patrick's Day weekend!

National Trust Members and Local Pass Holders gain free access. Online booking is strongly recommended in advance via the official website. This is a free event; normal admission charges apply.
