About

Step into the timeless charm of Old Mill House for a magical day of traditional willow weaving with talented willow artist, Heather McDermott and create your own sustainable Spring basket.

Using willow that has been sustainably grown on site, you will learn the fundamental skills and weaving techniques required to create your own beautiful, functional spring basket

As part of the experience, you visit our Salley or Saille Garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow, so please come suitably dressed

No prior experience is required! This workshop is designed for adults of all skill levels, though some manual dexterity is needed.

Bring a friend or loved one and enjoy a memorable experience together.
