About

Olive's Cottage is situated in the same complex as Mabel's Cottage, nestled between the Mourne Mountains and overlooking Carlingford Lough on the main Newry Road between Kilkeel and Rostrevor.

This luxurious 4 bedroom cottage sleeps 9 people and has all the facilities for a baby. There is full disabled access throughout the ground floor.

Downstairs comprises of 1 ensuite bathroom with a king sized bed, an open plan kitchen and living room, a utility room complete with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities, a separate living room complete with stove and television and a wet room and toilet at the back door entrance.

Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuite rooms with double beds and 1 room with a set of bunk beds (double on bottom and single on top).

We do have books and games for adults and children to enjoy along with toys suitable for all ages. 

Outside we have a sandpit, jungle gym and a hot tub. A gas Outback BBQ is also on site and available for your use. There are adult and children's picnic tables and lounfe seating available. There is ample on site parking.

The lane is 1 mile long and takes you on to the mountain where there are spectacular views over Carlingford.

Perfect for the golfers, hikers, fishermen, people with reduced ability and familes. Whether you have visited the County Down coast before, or this is your first time, you won't be disappointed as there's lots to do for all ages.
