RUA Annual Exhibition

About

The Royal Ulster Academy's annual exhibition is the most eagerly anticipated in the Northern Irish cultural calendar. The exhibition provides a unique platform for acclaimed artists and emerging talent to showcase their artwork in their national museum. You can expect to see the full range of visual arts represented from painting, sculpture and audiovisual works to ceramics, textiles and mixed media. Alongside artworks by the RUA Academicians, there will be work on display by 200 artists from all over the world, selected through open submission.

Founded in 1879, the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts is the largest and longest-established body of practising visual artists in Northern Ireland. One of its founding principles is to organise, promote or join in organising and promoting in any fashion an Annual Exhibition of work by both members and non–members.

This exhibition is on display in Art Gallery 6 from 18 October 2024 – 5 January 2025. Free to attend and no booking necessary! Please note Ulster Museum is closed on Mondays.
